In the query below, you can enter any location name in English or Chinese (簡體/繁體/整體/拼音), province name, a language or dialect name, or any tone contour for that matter (55, 51, 24, 213, 214, etc.) If you end up with a rather large search result, try putting the two intersecting terms you would like and use a match all search method (but you won't be able to define the column in this case). There are some sample search tips below.

Search Tips

Dialect / Topolect Name Match
Remove apostrophes from the name. Search using Chinese characters for narrower results. Using pinyin without tone marks may return too many results.

Tone Contour and Language
Try: Hui 24 (match all)

Tone Contour, Language, Province
Try: 51 anhui mandarin (match all)

Any and all occurrences of two tone contours
Try: 51 24 (match any)

Only Wu dialects that have all three tone contours
Try: 51 55 35 wu (match all)

Only dialects with 51 tone in 陰去 category
Try: 51 (perfect match, column9)

For example, for all dialects with 51 tone in Anhui province and belonging to Mandarin, type: anhui 51 mandarin, then choose "Match All". If you are looking for 51 in a particular tone, you will still have to manually pick out from these results.
